The Plumbing
We determine the interior water supply/ distribution including fixtures & faucets, drain waste/vent systems-all fixtures, water heating equipment/ hot water supply system, vent systems- flues & chimneys, fuel storage/distribution systems, drainage sumps, sump pumps & related piping, description of materials & energy source(s), and location of the main water & fuel shut-off valves.

The Electrical system
Your safety is our priority so extra care is taken while inspecting it. The service drop & service entrance conductors are indicators of the homes electrical condition. While inside the home we inspect the cables & raceways, service equipment, main disconnects, service grounding, interior components of service panels & sub panels, conductors, over current protection devices, lighting fixtures, switches & receptacles, & GFCI. The following is also described in the report - amperage/ voltage of the service, location of the main disconnect and any sub panels, presence of aluminum wiring, presence or absence of smoke detectors & the wiring methods.

The insulation & vapor retarders in unfinished paces, attic & foundation area ventilation, and mechanical ventilation systems are inspected. Further description is provided for the insulation & vapor retarders in unfinished spaces, and the absence of insulation in unfinished spaces at conditioned surfaces is described as well.
